Google overhauls its search system

Google is all set to overhaul its search system. The changes will be first seen soon on Google.com in English page only. The search results will include news sites, blogs, video services and other related places. The expanded results will be made available to users via series of tabs. This kind of offering already exists with Amazon's A9 and Ask.com.

Google is overhauling its search system so it returns "universal" results not just those from webpages.

The change means users will also get results from news sites, blogs, video services and other relevant places.
